COURSE INTRODUCTION
STOTT PILATES® Intensive Reformer (IR) is a training program designed for individuals working in the fitness or movement industry, as well as those who want to become well-trained instructors in Intensive Reformer Pilates. Built on your existing knowledge of fitness and movement, this course is structured for both beginner and intermediate-level STOTT PILATES® Reformer machine instructors. It equips you with the foundational knowledge and essential skills to design and conduct effective Reformer Pilates classes for individuals or groups with diverse needs.

- ☸ INTENSIVE REFORMER (IR) is built upon a solid foundation of knowledge and the essential skills needed to develop effective Pilates Reformer programs.
- ☸ The Five Basic Principles of STOTT PILATES
- ☸ Theory and Practical Postural Analysis
- ☸ 139 exercises along with specific modifications for different body types, postural issues, and conditions
- ☸ Design exercises from Basic to Intermediate. Effectively use the Reformer machine to enhance core stability, peripheral mobility, joint stability, flexibility, balance, and coordination.
- ☸ Effective communication and observation skills. Provide verbal and visual cues to enhance performance and motivation for students.
- ☸ Classroom skills: effective communication and observation. Enhance performance and motivation for students through verbal and visual cues.
- ☸ How to incorporate resistance equipment to support and enhance exercises.
