Various Types of Yoga

Hatha Yoga

Hatha Yoga classes focus on practicing traditional Yoga postures (asanas), breath control techniques, and mindfulness. The core of the practice is to listen to the body by holding postures for extended periods, promoting strength in core muscles, flexibility, balance, and concentration.

Prop-Assisted Yoga (Chair Yoga – Block Yoga – Wall Yoga – Stick Yoga)

The Prop-Assisted Yoga classes distinguish themselves by utilizing supportive props for proper body alignment and emphasizing subtle movements within each Yoga posture. This approach ensures that students achieve optimal effectiveness and endurance during their practice. This style of Yoga is highly regarded for its precision and demands a high degree of accuracy in adjusting each posture to suit the individual physique and needs of each student throughout their training journey.

Yoga Ball Fitness

The training postures with the Yoga Ball are often gentle, flowing, and lightweight, contributing to improved flexibility in the joints. It enhances lower body strength, particularly the back, abdomen, and buttocks, making these muscle groups firmer, healthier, and more flexible. This practice effectively supports weight loss, aiding in the burning of excess fat around the abdomen, waist, and hips.

Aerial Yoga

These are Yoga poses practiced with the aid of suspended silk hammocks hanging from the ceiling. In addition to ground-level Yoga postures, they incorporate movements inspired by acrobatics, taking advantage of the body’s freedom from the Earth’s gravitational pull.

The benefits of Aerial Yoga are significant: it reduces pressure on the spine, allowing the muscles around the vertebral column to relax. Joints are relieved from the usual weight-bearing strain, unlike conventional Yoga. It challenges the nervous system, enhances mental well-being and body awareness, increases traction, promotes flexibility, is beginner-friendly, and helps maintain posture.

Aerial Yoga is currently gaining significant popularity.

Restorative Yoga

Restorative Yoga classes combine meditation movements and a state of tranquility, creating rejuvenating postures for the body, along with the use of supportive props and relaxing music. Restorative Yoga poses play a crucial role in our yoga journey: they help regenerate energy, heal the negative impacts of daily life stress, and assist our nervous system in returning to a balanced state.

Vinyasa Yoga

Vinyasa classes are like the dynamic rhythms of life. Postures are seamlessly connected with each breath, allowing the body to flow and balance harmoniously. Vinyasa generates energy, builds endurance, flexibility, and strength. Typically, creative sequences are built around the Surya Namaskar (Sun Salutation) sequence, creating a challenging workout.

Yin Yoga

Yin Yoga integrates the principles of Hatha Yoga and Qigong, based on the concept of yin and yang from Daoism. Yin Yoga focuses on the connective tissues (ligaments and tendons) rather than muscles. It doesn’t aim to warm up muscles or move quickly; instead, Yin Yoga encourages gentle, passive stretches, often using props. Each posture may be held for a minimum of 3 minutes or more.

Key Benefits of Yin Yoga

1. Stillness: Calms and balances the mind and body.
2. Stress and Anxiety Reduction
3. Enhanced Circulation
4. Improved Flexibility
5. Fascial Release: Releasing tension in fascial tissues.
6. Better Joint Mobility
7. Internal Organ Balance and Enhanced Energy Flow through stimulation of meridians.

Yoga Blind

It is a yoga practice that requires practitioners to focus entirely on their inner self. This is facilitated by the use of a specialized blindfold, designed to be worn over the eyes, allowing practitioners to keep their eyes open without seeing the external world. This inner connection is like a path, like a light that enables practitioners to experience the subtlety of Yoga through movements. The unity of breath and posture creates the complete beauty of Yoga in this unique form of practice.

Yoga Kids

Yoga classes for children are designed to relieve stress after a week of studying, release tension in the body, and help correct posture to prevent hunching and spinal misalignment. Additionally, Aerial Yoga for Kids classes also allow kids to conquer aerial poses, providing excitement and challenges that they always seek.
